The goal is to get a hand value closer to 21 than the Dealer, without going over 21. You are playing against the Dealer, not other players.
Card Values: Number cards (2-10) are worth their face value.
Face Cards (J, Q, K): Are all worth 10 points.
Aces (A): Are worth 11 points, *unless* that would make your hand go over 21. In that case, an Ace is worth 1 point.
Gameplay:
The game starts. All players and the dealer get two cards. One of the dealer's cards is hidden.
Player turns cycle one by one. On your turn, you have two choices:
Hit: Take another card. You can hit as many times as you want, but if your hand value goes over 21, you "bust" and lose the round immediately.
Stay: End your turn and keep your current hand.
After all players have finished their turns, the Dealer plays. The Dealer must hit until their hand value is 17 or higher. Once the Dealer stays, the round is scored. You win if your hand is closer to 21 than the Dealer's, or if the Dealer busts.
